Spokes 'Metal Man' Triathlon

The race itself consisted of a 750m swim in Tramore Bay, an 18km cycle from Tramore to the Ballindud Roundabout on the road to Waterford and back again, finishing with a 5k run on the beach towards the sandhills and back again. Even though the sun was shining there was still a considerable breeze which made the swim somewhat choppy and the cycle into Tramore and the run towards in the sandhills direction a challenge.
